More pressure on youth competitors

Every year, there are debates about whether youth sporting events such as the Little League World Series should be televised live. The thought is that the pressure to perform on that stage, and the consequences of either being a hero or a goat may be too great for many 10-12 year olds to handle.

Well now, the National Spelling Bee is going to move from a sleepy afternoon show on ESPN to a live Thursday primetime slot on ABC.
